Canada Plans To Announce New Travel Rules

Canada’s current border restrictions expire on July 21st. Tomorrow we will learn about the Canadian government’s new policy on U.S. tourism, tourism in other parts of the world, and flights from India.
Canada may announce new COVID-19 travel arrangements tomorrow.
Canada introduced travel restrictions in March 2020 and is extending them every month until 2021. The country is taking a gradual approach to lifting the restrictions.
Last month, Canada announced that all Confirmation of Permanent Residency (COPR) holders (i.e., newly approved immigrants) were immediately exempt from travel restrictions. Earlier this month, Canada implemented a new policy to exempt fully vaccinated travelers from the quarantine requirement.
